Apprentice Learning Support Assistant


Salary: National Minimum Wage (pro rata) – 1 post

Post 1 : Temporary contract (for the duration of the apprenticeship)

starting November/ December 2018

32 hours per week term time only

GCSE Level 4/ Grade C in English and Maths or equivalent qualification

An interest in training as a Learning Support assistant and working with pupils within a SEN setting

A commitment to undertaking Level 2 TLSA through SMBC nominated learning provider.

Some previous experience of working with children in an educational setting is desirable but not essential


When you’ve successfully completed your Apprenticeship, you may be given the opportunity to continue in your role or progress onto an LSA role within the school where you’ll receive full training and support.
