School Council
The School Council is a group of pupils who help make our school a better place for everyone. They listen to ideas from other children, share suggestions with teachers, and help make important decisions.
School Council members meet regularly to talk about:
-
How to improve school life
-
Fundraising for charities
-
Planning fun school events
-
Children’s rights and staying safe
They work as a team, take on special roles, and help make sure every pupil’s voice is heard.

Learn about children’s rights through our Rights Respecting Schools – Article of the Month, including how to stay safe online for Safer Internet Day, World Water Day, Universal Children's Day and our Rights of the Child.
-
Discuss fundraising projects, such as supporting the local Food Bank and raising money for Children in Need, Red Nose Day and Christmas Jumper Day.
-
Plan exciting whole-school events, including the Valentine’s Disco, Sports Day and Family Fundraisers and ideas to support school such as ideas for new playground equipment.
-
Share ideas from our classes so everyone’s voice is heard
By communicating our wants and needs clearly and respectfully, the School Council helps make our school and community a better place for everyone.
