Behaviour At Merstone School
Merstone School is very proud of the pupil's behaviour at school, leading to high levels of engagement and support offered to support those who require it.
Staff are proactive in their approaches and review behaviour strategies that are in place for all pupils. Behaviour leads Kieran Ryan-Grealish and Georgia Travers hold regular whole-school, department and individual class meetings to support the school's behaviour management and approaches.
Staff are trained and coached using the Team Teach approach as well as Restorative Practices to ensure pupils are safe and supported during their time at Merstone School.
Families and carers are key in supporting the development and behaviour of their child, collaborative approaches work best. Having clear communication with the class teacher and behaviour leads are essential in supporting our pupils, their learning and also accessing the wider community.
Please contact the main office to make an appointment to discuss your child's behaviour and what is in place for them whilst at school.Further information can be found below through our school's behaviour policy, Team Teach Family information and also upon request through meetings with Kieran and Georgia.
